FIRST LEGO League Junior (FLL Jr.) is a non-competitive robotics program designed for children. Children will then work on their “Show Me” poster and LEGO models to demonstrate their findings according to the instructions in the Challenge. Parents are expected to accompany their children to the events and help our program coordinators keep everyone focused and on task!
During the season, teams will be guided through discovery and exhibition in relation to the released challenge. Teams will be meeting once per week to work together to complete the tasks laid out. All skill levels are welcomed and needed, technical or non-technical.
Children in K through 3rd grade are available to register for the FLL Jr. program. Enrollment for the FLL Jr. program is generally open from June to August of each year.
Dues for the year are $75 per student that help cover the operating cost of the program. Payments can be processed through our website or in person via check or cash. To reserve your spot on the team the registration fee is due within 14 calendar days of submitting registration.
The FLL Jr. teams meet on Saturdays at The Stachelczyk STEM Center (43883 Airport View Dr, Hollywood MD 20636). You can check out our full program calendar.
