growingSTEMS is proud to announce that one of our very own volunteers / board members, Tim Miedzinski, has been selected as the STEM Education and Outreach Advocate of the Quarter!
Tim started his STEM experience when he joined our FIRST Robotics Competition Team, The RoboBees back in 2005. Since then he graduated from Virginia Tech with bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and now works as a lead engineer with the NAWCAD Patuxent River Prototyping, Instrumentation and Experimentation Department’s Mechanical Instrumentation Branch.
Upon graduation he returned to be a full time mentor to help the program and inspire the next generation of STEM professionals. Tim is one of the founding members of growingSTEMS and we are incredibly proud of everything that he has accomplished! Congratulations Tim!
