We are raising money to help offset the cost of our team to the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis, MO April 27-30, 2016. To help ensure our continued success, we are seeking additional donations and sponsorship’s from our community. Without the support of our community, we would not be able to field a successful and celebrated team. We are accepting donations through our PiggyBacker campaign.
Team 836, The RoboBees, is a FIRST Robotics Competition community team based out of Hollywood, Maryland. We are comprised of students from four high schools, as well as home-schooled students, from within St. Mary’s and the surrounding counties. This variety of students provides the team with a wealth of different interests, passions, and enthusiasm in arts, business, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The team is coming off the best season in team history, winning all three events attended. Hopefully the tend continues at the World Championships!
