2025 Open House Success

    Written by Iris and Alexander

On June 14, we were able to have such a wonderful and successful open house to showcase growingStems! We were able to display our different robotics programs for all ages (FRC for high school students, VEX IQ for 4th to 9th grade students, VEX GO for 3rd to 4th graders, and our variety of Combat summer camps) to an audience of all ages and engage their involvement with our organization. It was exciting to see so many people interested in STEM and robotics, and being able to show them everything we’ve been working on made the event more special.

With a variety of stations set up, interested young engineers could interact and see what we have been able to accomplish and see their future with growingSTEMS. From watching live robot demos to driving robots themselves, visitors were able to get hands-on experience and really feel what it’s like to be part of our programs.

Parents and families also had the chance to learn how their students could get involved, and many shared how impressed they were by the passion and dedication of our team.  It was an amazing time for students and mentors part of our organization to interact and inspire new people to join, and we hope to see new faces in the upcoming season! We’re so proud of the energy and effort everyone put into making the open house such a success, and it reminded us all why we love being part of the RoboBees and growingSTEMS.
