Carson has been involved with growingSTEMS since 2016, stepping away briefly to earn his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Now, he leads the mechanical design and manufacturing subteam, helping guide the next generation of engineers. Outside of growingSTEMS,

Carson works as an organic product designer at NAWCAD. He is married to fellow mechanical engineer Rebecca Bistline, and together they share a young daughter. Carson is also active in the Professional Development Council, where he and Rebecca are always connecting with friends.
