We’re offering two camp sessions this summer so students can join at the level that fits both their age and their programming experience.
Choosing the Right Session
Please select your camp based on both grade level and programming experience:
-
Grades 3rd–6th and new to coding → EdScratch
-
Grades 5th–8th with prior experience → EdPy
If you’re unsure which session is the best fit, reach out — we’re happy to help.
EdScratch Camp
Beginner Programming (Grades 3rd–6th)
This session is designed for students who are new to coding.
Using a simple drag-and-drop coding platform, campers will learn the basics of programming in a way that feels more like solving puzzles than writing code. They’ll program their robot to move, react to obstacles, follow lines, respond to sound, and complete fun daily challenges.
Along the way, students build real skills in:
-
Logical thinking
-
Problem solving
-
Understanding how sensors and motors work together
-
Breaking big problems into smaller steps
No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try.
EdPy Camp
Intermediate Programming (Grades 5th–8th)
This session is for students who are ready to move beyond block coding and start writing real text-based programs.
Using EdPy (a Python-style programming language), campers will write and debug their own code, create custom functions, and build more advanced robot behaviors. They’ll tackle challenges that require testing, revising, and thinking like real engineers.
This camp is a great fit for students who:
-
Have prior coding experience
-
Have completed EdScratch or another intro coding class
-
Are ready for a deeper challenge
Every Camper Takes a Robot Home
Each participant receives their own Edison robot to keep at the end of camp.
That means learning doesn’t stop on the last day. Students can continue exploring, experimenting, and building at home. The same robot works for beginner block coding and more advanced programming, so it grows with them.
Our goal is simple: give students real skills, real confidence, and a hands-on experience that makes them excited about engineering and technology.
Spots are limited, and we keep groups small so every student gets personal attention.
We’d love to see your student join us this summer.
