The RoboBees, FIRST Robotics Team 836, were featured in a segment of WJLA’s news coverage this past week in recognition for their Toys for Tots Bike Build.

With the holiday season approaching, a group of teens that typically spends its weekend mornings playing video games or hanging out recently chose to give back to their community.
Inside a makeshift “Santa’s Workshop,” 25 St. Mary’s County students spend their day putting together children’s bicycles piece-by-piece. The 60 bikes they constructed will be donated to Toys For Tots.
The bikes will all go to families in need this Christmas.
