On Saturday February 12, 2017, The RoboBees had a wonderful fundraising event at our local French restaurant, La Rive Breton in downtown Leonardtown. The owners were very generous to donate 10% of the proceeds of the evening’s dinner sales to The RoboBees. Members of our team, their families, our supporters and members of the general public filled the restaurant to capacity for the dinner service on the Saturday before Valentine’s Day.
The owners and restaurant staff (which includes two of our own students!) were extremely kind to us and we were very grateful for the opportunity. Many of the students who showed up said that they loved the food! “It was amazing!” They even allowed us to set up several pictures of our most recent championship robot and some of the awards we received!
The RoboBees would like to thank the owners, Steven and Brian Wilson, for your support of our team. We enjoyed the evening immensely and are sure to return again!
