growingSTEMS with support from The RoboBees are proud to offer two summer camp opportunities for rising 4th through 8th grade students. During the week of August 5th-9th these two camps will focus on Lego Robotics (using the popular EV3 platform) and Scratch Programming!
Discovery EV3 Camp
Camp participants will have access to 12 robotics exercises that are designed to inspire and teach, and gives students an insight into solutions for modern factories and industries. Learning physics, math, and extraordinary machines that can bring exciting goals within reach!
From 8AM to Noon camp participants will work with their partners to build Lego creations to accomplish specific tasks!

Scratch Programming Summer Camp
Camp participants will be engaged with programming exercises based on the classics, such as Pong, Frogger, Snake or Tetris. Our program leaders will show your students how to create their own computer games.
From 1PM to 4PM our camp counselors will work with the participants to develop their chosen video game in Scratch!

If your students want to attend both camps, they may bring lunch and will be supervised over the noon hour for a full fay of Robotics fun!
